A Good Day

Olivia had a good day today. She cried and had a couple of gags when they were suctioning her out. To quantify her weight gain, she is up to 4 lbs. 10 oz. today. Both the doctor and the physical therapist that have been caring for her regularly said that she looked better today than she has been.

We have been asked what RSV is. Respiratory syncytial virus is a very common virus. RSV causes mild cold-like symptoms in adults and children, but premature babies or those with lung or heart problems have a high risk of getting very sick if they catch RSV. RSV season usually starts in the fall and runs through the spring. This and more info can be found on www.google.com
