Challenging Day

Olivia did not have the greatest day. Her surgery is still not healing the way that it should. It seems to be causing her some discomfort as well.

We will be taking her to see her pediatrician later this morning :) This will be quite a process. It takes one of us to drive and the other to watch her. We also have to take all the equipment that we have here with us in case she has spells on our trip. As you can imagine, we will only be taking her to necessary things.

Someone had asked the girls' weights, so we had the visiting nurse today weigh them. Alysa is 11 lbs. and Olivia is 6 lbs. 14 oz.

it was me that asked the weight, thanks for posting them. you can definitely see the size difference, but they don't look that different to me, you can still tell they are identical. anyway, i am so sorry olivia and in turn you all had a challenging day today. i assume that is why your post was at 2am. anyway, i know we as readers can't expect to come on and hear good things for every post as that is not how it will be, but i hope her pediatrician is able to figure out what to do for her discomfort so she can enjoy her time home as well. it's not like the old days when the dr's came to you, that would be nice in your case instead of having to bring all the equipment with you. well, take care and i hope today is a little easier, after the trek to the dr's of course. we are continuing to pray for olivia and your family.

My girls have a huge weight diffrence too, just be lucky now you dont have to answer "which one is which" as often. I am sorry that Olivia is still having a hard time with her Mickey. I hope things getter better. Don't worry you will get used to lugging all that equipment around, it will give you muscles that is for sure!

Let us know what the doctor says

I'm so glad to hear that all 5 of you are home. Today was the first day I could check the blog! Wow, what beautiful children God has given you. May you continue to look for His strength to see you through. I'm so glad that your insurance will cover 24/7! Wonderful, we will continue to pray that you will receive all the help you need.
Congratulations again, on 2 darling daughters!

YAY!!! So happy she's home. Is it no surprise that she's doing better where she belongs? So happy you guys can all be together! Please let me know if I can do some grocery shopping for you or any other chores out side the home as I'm often around your area lately.

Just wanted you to know that your tiny little girls, especially Olivia have touched so many hearts.
For myself, have brought me closer
to our Heavenly Father. Not everyone is able to do that.
Prayers and love go out to all of you.
